Pocket Midway
Privacy policy
Effective October 24, 2026
Pocket Midway is made by RDub Studios, LLC. We do not display advertising, use advertising identifiers, sell personal information, or include third-party behavioral analytics.
Your game stays on your device
Your local scores, tickets, prize collection, and preferences are saved on your device. We do not upload your gameplay history, prize inventory, contacts, precise location, or photos to our notification service.
Game Center
If you use Apple Game Center, the game submits leaderboard scores and achievements to Apple under your Game Center identity. Apple handles that service under Apple’s privacy policy. You can manage Game Center sign-in and visibility in iOS Settings; public leaderboard entries may be visible to other players. Read Game Center & Privacy. Game Center does not sync Pocket Midway’s local ticket balance or prize ownership.
Notifications are optional
Some beta versions do not offer announcement registration. This section applies only if your installed version offers notifications and you choose to enable them. You can play without enabling announcements.
If you choose notifications, our service stores an Apple Push Notification service (APNs) device token, a random installation identifier, the topics you choose (contest news and/or prize news), whether the app uses Apple’s production or development push service, a hash of a private installation credential, and registration/update/expiry times. These fields let us send the announcements you requested, update your choices, and remove invalid registrations. No name, email address, Apple Account, advertising identifier, or Game Center identity is attached to this registration.
Registration expires after 180 days without an update. Expired records are excluded from delivery immediately and removed during the next service request or operator cleanup. Turning both topics off in the app removes the active subscription when the device is online. If you disable notification permission in iOS Settings, open Pocket Midway so it can send that removal. Otherwise the registration expires or is removed when Apple reports the token invalid.
To avoid duplicate announcements, the service also keeps a delivery record containing the announcement identifier, random installation identifier, a content hash, and time. It does not store the message body in this record. These delivery records are removed with subscription deletion or expiry.
Who processes this data
Netlify hosts the RDub Studios website you are reading. Cloudflare Workers and D1 host the optional notification service and registration database. Apple delivers notifications through APNs. These providers process network information needed to operate and secure their services. We do not add advertising trackers or behavioral analytics to these Pocket Midway pages. Request logs, analytics and traces are disabled in our notification service configuration, and its database does not store IP addresses. Hosting providers may process technical request information for delivery, security and operation under their own policies. Operational database backups may retain deleted records temporarily under the hosting provider’s retention controls.
Apple beta testing and diagnostics
If you install a beta through a private Apple invitation, Apple handles beta installation, diagnostic information and feedback through its beta distribution service. Apple may also make crash reports available according to your device sharing settings. Pocket Midway does not include a separate analytics or crash-reporting SDK.
Support and your choices
If you email us, we receive the information you choose to include and use it to answer your request. You may ask about or request deletion of support correspondence by emailing rich@rdub.dev. Notification registrations are not linked to an email address; the in-app controls provide direct authenticated removal.
Local data and privacy requests
You control local game data on your device. Removing the app can remove your local scores, tickets and prizes; Apple services and backups are managed through your Apple Account and device settings. You can contact us to request access, correction or deletion of information we hold about you, or to raise a privacy concern. Because notification registrations do not contain your email or Game Center identity, use the authenticated in-app controls to remove that registration.
Children
The core game does not require an account, contact information or notification registration. Parents and guardians can manage Game Center and notification permissions through Apple’s device and family settings. Please avoid sending children’s personal information in support messages.
Changes
We will update this page and its effective date if these practices change. Questions are welcome at rich@rdub.dev.
