Pocket Midway is an indie arcade bowling game from Rich Weiss at RDub Studios, designed with the iPhone Duo in mind. On iPhone Duo, the lane sits below the crease and the targets above it; changing the fold changes the shot. Players flick nine balls, chase a double-scoring hot target and earn tickets for interactive prizes across three included machines: Boardwalk, Spaceport and Grand Arcade. Private beta access is available on request. The App Store release is being prepared, with a planned US$2.99 upfront price. No ads or third-party tracking. Core play works offline; Game Center and announcements are optional. Rich is also the developer behind BrainDrain, available now, and dinnerrr, now on the App Store and optimized for Duo. The apps were in development before launch weekend. With Duo hardware now in hand, Rich is optimizing them further, part of the indie effort to make the new device delightful. Privacy and no ads remain central to RDub’s business.
